What can I say. I'm a cutter. That means when I get stressed, overwhelmed, things from my perspective are unfair, I am being attacked, etc my coping mechanism is to cut. Last week was horrible. Im in the middle of student teaching with a less than stellar mentor teacher. Ok lets be honest, Im not wanted and the woman has done everything in her power to abandon me in the classroom, to give me no support and to make this as difficult as possible. Friday things came to a head and I lost it with her and she cut loose on me. I basically came home in tears and made a mad dash for the shower with my sharp object. Just a few quick cuts and the stress was so much better.
Yes I went to therapy Friday night, I will go again Monday evening.
Things will get better. I will stay positive. I will not let this woman run me out of the program. I am more than willing to work WITH her, it would make my life much easier but if thats not meant to be I can do it on my own.
