Wow - How can the weekend be over?

Can it be Sunday at midnight already?  I don't want it to be early Monday morning...

I managed a few stitches in my cross stitch project today, nothing on the crochet but thats ok.  Today was a lazy Sunday.  I'm setting a goal of next weekend to be completely done with the cross stitch and I know if I just focus on it for a couple hours I will be done.  I have a friend who needs to do the backstitch (I can't do that correctly) then I can ship it off.  The table runner does look lovely.

My son "J" spent the day watching pre-season NASCAR and making creations out of Lego's.  IMO Lego's count as Math and Science for homeschool purposes.  Lego's involve spatial relations, geometry, reading plans (if he is following something from a book), creativity, and lots of other good things.  So yes Lego's count for school. If you want to get picky they can even count for 'Art' class. LOL

I started pleasure reading as well.  I don't know where I find the time to get everything done that I like to do... maybe at midnight on Sunday?  My latest read is Eye of the Beholder by David Ellis.  My typical genre is Fiction, Mystery, Murder, Psychology, Suspense, Etc.  David Ellis is a new author for me but so far I am about 150 pages in and I am intrigued.  Last night I was up until about 130 am reading.

My son also loves to read.  Right now he is devouring 'If You Are Reading This, You Are Too Late' by Pseudonymous Bosch.  This book is second in the Secret series, and so far there are three.

I better get some sleep, 6am comes mightly early around here.  I am about 1/3 done with student teaching and I vow to start the week on a positive attitude.  I can only control how I act and feel and tomorrow I will be positive.
